EVENING STANDARD: ARTIST JOINS MAYFAIR GALLERY WITH PORTRAIT AUCTION TO BOOST THE FELIX PROJECT

Evening Standard, October 26, 2020
Mayfair gallery has joined a popular Norwegian artist to launch an online auction in aid of our Food For London Now appeal partner, The Felix Project.

Readers have until December 1 to bid for an untitled oil portrait by Henrik Uldalen which is estimated to sell for around £10,000.

The highest bidder will bag their own personalised oil portrait by the self-taught painter.

The JD Malat Gallery, which is known for its contemporary art, will donate all proceeds of the auction to Felix, which collects and delivers nutritious surplus food to vulnerable people across the country.

Throughout lockdown the charity has also worked with the Standard to deliver thousands of hot meals to the homeless with our state-of-the-art trucks as part of our campaign to end food poverty.

Uldalen told the Standard: "To be able to contribute to a kinder society is an honour."
