Beyond the Visible: Kojo Marfo Brings Art and Design Into Conversation at Alserkal Avenue

Curated by Ali Dioun, the exhibition brings Marfo's vibrant, expressive paintings into dialogue with sculptural furniture by UAE-based design studio Contemporary Spaces. The article explores the artist's distinctive visual language, cultural influences and themes of identity, perception and belonging, while highlighting the relationship between contemporary art, architecture and design.
